This past weekend, Open Hearts had the incredible honor of being part of the GoPro Mountain Games in Vail, Colorado—an annual celebration of outdoor adventure, community, and creativity. It was a vibrant intersection of nature and human expression, and we were grateful to bring our heart-led mission to the heart of the mountains.
As featured in the Vail Daily, our interactive art space invited attendees of all ages to step into their feelings, let go of perfection, and create from the soul. It wasn’t about being an artist—it was about being open. Whether someone was sketching quietly, painting boldly, or simply pausing to reflect, each contribution became part of a collective canvas of compassion and connection.
We witnessed so many people find stillness, joy, and healing through artistic expression—reminding us why we do this work. Thank you to every person who stopped by, shared a story, picked up a brush, or simply took a deep breath with us.
